Make Fieldwork your own.
01 / Replace the demo identity
Edit the shared Main Layout for your business name, navigation and footer. Replace fictional names, example prices and coverage with accurate business information. Keep the supplied asset notices, or use your own authorized photographs. Crew graphics are original fictional monograms.
02 / Set services and coverage
Edit six CMS collections: Services, Projects, Advice, Crew, Prices and Coverage. Home featured work and the Work index share Projects. Preserve native references when choosing a Service, Crew member or Coverage area. Add only qualifications and claims you can verify.
03 / Connect your inquiry form
Configure your own receiver separately on Contact, Service detail and Project detail native Forms. The supplied demo destinations are empty. Detail forms bind the current service and project context; do not replace them with a generic link. Confirm real inbox receipt with your own sample inquiry before business launch.
04 / Review every screen size
Check desktop, tablet and phone layouts with your actual text and photographs. Confirm every CTA, contact detail and page destination.
05 / Publish on your own plan
Hosting and a custom domain are separate from the template purchase. The complete site uses six CMS collections; choose a Framer plan with capacity for at least six collections and check its current publishing limits. This website does not include a booking system, payment processing, a CRM or a maintenance subscription backend.
06 / Edit the records, not duplicate cards
Create or edit real CMS records. Home featured Services, Projects and Advice use the Featured field; indices and details consume the same data. Keep the Slug associated with Title or Name, and set a unique value when renaming published content. Native references let a Project choose its actual Service, Crew and Coverage record.
07 / Keep advice and price details consistent
Advice stores native rich text, an author reference, related Services, word count and read time. After changing a body, update its word count and read time using ceil(words / 200), minimum one minute. Read time is editorial data, not an automatic runtime calculation. Prices store a numeric Amount and separate Currency, Unit and Price kind; no currency conversion or instant quote is performed. Replace fictional amounts and agree actual tax, travel, materials, scope and exclusions.
08 / Describe real coverage and people
Coverage contains editable neighborhood groups, access notes and travel conditions. Keep a Project’s area among its Service’s configured coverage. Replace fictional crew names, bios and monograms only with accurate, permissioned information; do not imply qualifications or business results you cannot support. Existing stock photographs are illustrative and the delivery includes their original notices.
09 / Configure optional mobile contact actions
The in-flow mobile contact strip keeps Quote available. Phone and WhatsApp destinations are blank and hidden by default. In its property controls, use your real public phone and an international WhatsApp number only if you want those actions visible; the tool opens a user-initiated draft rather than sending automatically. The native Quote page ID is preconfigured for this project. Recheck it if transplanting the component into another site.
10 / Test a real buyer installation
Use the remix link to copy the project, then check actual desktop, tablet and phone previews after the editor finishes compiling. Confirm native CMS details, search/filters, all links, current prices, imagery and labels. Configure your own native form receivers and verify actual inbox receipt before publishing a business website. A successful preview or valid-looking form is not proof of delivery.
